Default Quentin Tarantino in a class of his own - 07-16-2007, 09:55 AM

I watched reservoir dogs 4 times. I even adopted the walk

I watched Kill Bill 4 times. That blood gushed out good.

Is the Kill Bill sequel just as good? am thinking of renting the video for a week so that I can watch 5 times if Tarantino lives up to his billing

Yes in my opinion it's just as good. You'll learn more about the characters. I liked it just as much as Volume 1. I am sure I've watched both more than 10 times. Have you watched Pulp Fiction? That's another good Quentin Tarantino. Not as much blood as Kill Bill but there's some.

Default Pulp Fiction - 07-20-2007, 06:25 AM

i couldn't get an original. I downloaded a copy from Tottentz.com. It was a grainy TMD quality movie, but I loved it nonetheless. This Quentin guy's good. Thanks 4 the tip

I'm another huge worshipper of Quentin.
I've seen ALL his films except for Grindhouse which i'll wait for on DVD.
You guys should check out Pulp Fiction starring Uma Thurman, Travolta and Samuel L. Its a comedy of sorts but with lots of blood (we won't have Quentin any other way).

oh yeah! he only presented Hostel though. Hostel 2 is probably playing now..

Froggy, KILL BILL is one movie. After they wrapped up with the editing process, they found that it was too long for one screening, so they made it two. hence the Volume 1 and the Volume 2. its not a sequel, and yes it is as good as the first (one of the fight scenes won an MTV award).

I buy all his movies so I can watch them whenever I want to.
Pulp Fiction is off the chain, kind of a dark comedy. It was my first Tarantino film and after that I was sold.
I saw Grindhouse at the movies, just had to see it on the big screen. The part that Robert Rodriguez did was alright, but Quentin Tarantino's part (Deathproof) didn't disappoint me. I definitely recommend it.

It's kind of cool how he empowers women in his movies. He doesn't do the whole played out damsel in distress thing. Maybe I'm getting too deep about it. Bottom line, I'm a huge Quentin Tarantino fun.

This guy is a master at his game. He weaves plots that are so beautiful. Watching his movies is like a pleasant cullinary experience; every flavor unfolds as you take a bite out of the movie sequence. The best thing about his movies is the surprise element. This dude is so fresh, spontaneous and unpredictable something that makes his movies refreshing. You never know what to expect which i must say i LOVE. If you look past the blood and gore in movies like akina the kill bill you are good to go.
