This year has quite a list of eagerly expected films; the ones that I feel are worth the mention are the following... in no particular order.
1. DATE MOVIE
A movie from the writers of scary movie, except here they make fun of romantic ones. Starring Alyson Hannigan, Eddie Griffin, Carmen Elektra, featuring lil Jon, the guy from napoleon dynamite

2. SCARY MOVIE 4
Its back this time making fun of movies such as War of the worlds, Saw 1 & 2, the grudge, etc.
Starring Regina Hall (again), Anna Farris, Chingy, lil Jon, Molly Shannon, Shaq, Dr Phil, Carmen Elektra (also in date movie), etc

3. X-MEN: THE LAST STAND
The final sequel is here soon starring the same old actors in the previous ones. I don't think jean is dead, by the way

4. SUPERMAN RETURNS
Kinda copying batman, but trust me this is a movie that will hold its own. The person playing superman looks strikingly similar to Christopher Reeves (the original Superman)

5. V FOR VENDETTA
This movie is a must watch if you liked the Matrix because it was written by the Wachowski's (the guys who produced and directed the Matrix). Starring the lovely Natalie Portman (star wars)

6. THE DA VINCI CODE
A movie rendition of the widely controversial book by Dan Brown. Starring a star studded cast of Tom Hanks, Sir Ian McKellen, Jean Reno and Audrey Molina. It has excellent picture, trust me.

7. MISSION IMPOSSIBLE 3
A sequel that we've been waiting for since its second part. The movie that made Tom famous has now returned with its third (final?) installment. It also has a star studded cast starring Tom Cruise, Phillip Seymour Hoffman (nominated for best actor in this years Oscars) Lawrence Fishburne, Keri Russell and directed by J.J. Abrams (the director of TV hits such as Lost, Alias and Felicity). This is what I call a kick ass combi!!

8. OMEN 666
I thought we had enough of these in the last 2 decades, apparently I was wrong. The horror movie is back this time starring heard-of actors such as Julia Stiles and Liev Shreiber (the guy freaks me out--he was born to do horrors)

9. BASIC INSTINCT 2
The sequel to hit movie Basic instinct is here, 14 years late i might add. The prequel starred Sharon Stone in 1992 and she's emerged to do a light up your screen again with the sequel, looking no less hot, of course. The other actors aren't quite well known, but anyway its Sharon we're looking out for anyway.

WOW!!
10. ICE AGE 2: THE MELT DOWN
I'm not a big cartoon fan but i figured someone out there may be looking for one to watch. Starring the voice of Ray Romano from the prequel, I hope this one will make me laugh at least twice (two times more than the first one made me laugh)
Did I miss any of YOUR favorites? Or did I include one that shouldn't be on anyone's to-watch list? Tell me
