Upcoming producer/director Micwang is slowly but surely becoming a household name. This time he brings us a hip documentary that journeys viewers through an event that saw the Kenya Sevens team win a new breed of supporters from different parts of the globe at the IRB World Rugby Sevens, in Los Angeles, California.

The documentary captures the excitement from the fans perspective, capturing everything from the action on and off the field, to the Kenyan after parties that go on till dawn and some very exciting exclusive interviews with the Kenyan rugby team, Kenyan fans, coaches and the event sponsors Rocawear, Team Roc & Roc-a-fella CEO Damon Dash.

The straight to DVD documentary is both exciting to watch and insightful, bringing out elements of the Kenyan culture in America.

This project was executive produced by Eric Njoroge of Beatzone Entertainment Group in L.A. and Michael Wanguhu of Emerge Media Films and Simbafrique Ent. Beatzone Entertainment Group (B.E.G) is a marketing and promotions company that provides promotional and marketing solutions to companies looking to introduce new and pre-existing products to the next wave of tastemakers.

The DVD will primarily be distributed and promoted by Simbafrique Entertainment. This will be the 3rd project distributed under the Simbafrique's Banner. (Previous projects include a comedy, "Redykyulass Trio; Coming to America; San Francisco" and another documentary, "The Classic; ATL Thanksgiving Kenyan Reunion 2000").

Simbafrique Entertainment is an urban African entertainment company that strives to feed the nostalgic reel of Kenyans in the United states. The company hosts a series of monthly bashes throughout the year which include parties to commemorate Kenyan festivities and hosting concerts for Kenyan artists that fly abroad.
