Default tupac resurrection - 11-09-2003, 04:24 AM

we just went through a pre-test of this movie that premiered on the 4th in LA, and hits theaters countrywide on the 14th. the movie is like a documentary with footage about his tragic and heroic life, all the way up until his grisly shooting! it's basically is a tribute to tupac, a martyr and legend of rap, arguably the greatest rapper of all time.

produced and directed by iron lady lauren lazin, the movie is a must see. though it seems like the thing that should be on biography, not in the movie theater, whatever the case is, its cool that someone is recognizing this jamaa for everyting that he has done. being a role model and inspiring many modern day rap artists. not many people in the world have love for this man, but hopefully this film will open their eyes to tupac's story. despite being shot on a low budget, it is informative and educative, and just because it is all real footage doesn't mean that it won't be enjoyable.

this movie shows the 'tatoo tears' life of tupac shakur. it shows his life as he became a famous rapper from a shady boy in marin CA. it gives us an inside look at his songs and the "murder", plus an inside look at the 7 day theory.

one strange thing is that tupac made a documentary about his life.hey, this is freaky but he is in the entire movie, his words, his voice, and his thoughts about life, fame, money, and everything in his life. haya, i took like two breaks inbetween the session to catch some air. one sawa thing is that it's just not about a rich bling, rap star, its about a man who gave the african skinned youth a voice in this generation.

my opinion: tupac is still alive

i watched it and it is definetly something that people need to watch.Unlile all this other documentaries that people narrate about how they viewed Tupac, this one is Tupac giving his own story. kwanza when he finally says he knows he is going to die and he is going to live through his music, that guy had seen his future when he was in jail.

I never thought there would ever come a time in which I would see eye to eye with Tupac Shakur. I was dragged to the movie but I am glad I went anyways. Now my next project is to shop for "everything tupac" and find a nice poster for my wall. Tupac is a good role model (for folk that can hack it without getting self-destructive). In fact I think if I have a son he will be called Tupac Shakur (oops..if his father allows it LOL).

Merck.

LOL...now is when you are discovering Tupac Merc *shakes head*

First of all he was FINE and so damn sexy! Then talk of one of the few talented brothers in the game and that voice hmmm! *fans herself*

As for if he is alive, he is sooo dead it is not even funny but his legacy does live on and always will and until I see him on BET being interviewed by Ed Gordon ama Tavis Smiley, I will maintain my sanity and keep believing he is RIP.

As for him having forsight of his death, that is not really too far out there cauz the life he was leading and enemies he had was a great indicator of what his journey was to be. The same path is for 50 ct and the likes. Nothing prophetic, just keeping it real.

The irony is, he predicted his death way before he even become a star. Check out his poetry. There is also an interview ( i believe its 1990) where he says he doesnt think he will make it to 25.

As for 50, that jamaa is about to catch a bullet with the wars he has
