I was just watching this movie yet again…why it was a ‘flop’ I have no Idea…It has everything… Humour, Violence, Sex & smells reality all the way to the end…

Whether its Melvin (V.Rhames) telling Jody (Tyresse) ‘You Damn Mathafakers’ & Faking his old lady with all of his pent up energy from his years in ‘Quentin’ or Omar Gooding Jr. pulling off the street thug Sweetpea, you would never guess he was the baby fat filled Juvenile in ‘Hanging with Mr Cooper’…

‘I hate you…I hate you’…ohhhh I love you, hehehe….If you want to watch a movie with good reviews watch ‘The Hours’, if you have no intention of being lulled to bed…Baby Boy is a must…

the whole Tyrese (sp) character going up and down with no direction and spewing babies left and right might just be too much of reality for the awards committee.

Baby Boy was a good movie with a sound message with the wrong main charecter. Tyrese...nahhh! He was just not a strong enough charecter...something was off.

Omar Gooding....me liked! Me liked ALOT! Liking him on his new show PlayMakers on ESPN as well.

Baby boy came a little bit too late. Eeven Singleton admits it. Singleton plooted that movie when Boyz in the Hood, Juice and Poetic Justice came out. his biggest mistake is he wrote the whole tryese character for Tupac and then when Tupac died, he didnt change it to reflect the change in time. People are now tied of the whole black violence thing. They want a movie like Brown Sugar

Hehehehee Kibz, I feel you on Baby Boy. I liked it. Sheila was on point, Tyrese didn't come across as a true hoodlum, he wasn't the best guy for that part....Omar Gooding was bomb, he's always been, since the days he used to get on coach Coop's nerves.....

But just like Mak said up there, the timing was wrong. Black people like to believe that the days of crips and Bloods are long gone.....nowadays they want to be associated with softy flicks like "two can play that game" (sorry movie) or "Brown Sugar" (even sorrier).....

But you gotta give it up to Ving Rhames.....That's my nigga right there.....'specially where he goes like "there's two kinds of niggas, niggas with guns and niggas with butter." That mofo is straight up ol' G.......
