Default Beer Galore.... forgetful Kenyans!! - 10-11-2008, 02:58 AM

There was this incident in Nyanza sometimes where a petrol tank overturned and people scrambled for the petrol! There was the incident in Banana Kiambu of a petrol tanker overturning and people scrambling for petrol... it turned tragic when it cannoned into fire.

Just about a week ago, another tanker overturned while trying to negotiate a corner on Thika Road as you enter to Kenya Breweries. It was a diesel tanker and people were there again scrambling for a litre of diesel!

If stupidity got us into this mess, then why can't it get us out?

My my my Alja let me save your threat before it drowns into the archives. Nut please tell guys what they need to comment about? All kenyans think it is normal for a lorry to overturn and for them to ransack even an injured driver.

This is the problem we have in our country! An accident, and guys are there to ransack rather than help!

Lakini imagine guys fighting over such things like pombe when a lorry overturns... ama like what is said to have happened with the two incidents petrol fires in Nyanza and Kiambu... it was rumoured some guys decided to light their cigarretes while chotaing the petrol!

You just make mi ni cheke! I know it is very Kenyan.... lakini jamaaz don't even take any caution!

Reminds me of again some lorries ferrying ng'ombe. One ditched of on Thika Road near Ruiru... haki guys were there with pangas and they were almost cutting each other going for prime cuts! And mind you no one was thinking of meat inspection before kulaing! Another truck had tipped over flyover bridge near Thika town... same thing and guys would not even be scared of anthrax! Yes, that's truly Kenyan!

And then after everything or anything goes wrong blame the government! Remember those stories of pombe mbaya (kumi kumi and.. can't even remember the name) in Maai Mahiu, Murang'a and MAchakos! Guys consumed that methanol laced alcohol, some died others lost their sight but they still had someone to blame for that.
