Mzee....wateremka mtoni???.....raha gani hiyo, isiyo na kifani!

Mombasa is one big party that never ends. Kuingia rahisi...kutoka ni matanga...
Avoid those digo galz...wana game apana mchezo!! You feel the swwtness right on your kisogo!!! Eeee...mume wake, au sio.

@Mishky....uko wapi, umpe jamaa vichapo!!!

BTW, anyone who knows mtaa za huko?
so how is it so far?!
Ukunda is some sort of beach resort hidden huko ndani past Likoni. am sure utaipenda. tegea tu mpaka Dec lol!

Follow kgb's advice. Mikindani is considered the hide out for Nairobi people. kuna watu wa Nai wengi sana huko. try Ganjoni pia, its the closest esto to town.but am sure by now umeshajipanga. all the best.

Remember not to knock p'ples door when u visit them. In Mombasa they say hodi hapa kwa wenyewe' or u just shout...wenyewe!.... wenyewe! and they'll jibu..dhooo mwanagu.., wathaka jirani au mwenye nyumba?

In msa they believe that only the police or watu wa bara ndiyo wana tabia ya kubisha hadi kwa kugonga mlango.

Hujambo bwana,
usibabaike, all said and done Mombasa is a very friendly place to settle. For starters life is laid back ulivyoelezwa na jamaa tayari.

Accomodation
Depending on how much housing allowance you have ganjoni is a nice place to find a flat . Right in the centre of the city, close to the Tusks and all that area.Convenient for transport, most offices, shops, drinking and eating joints etc.Otherwise there are other places mentioned like Mikindani, bamburi kiembeni,Vescon, etc but as a newcomer i'd start looking in Ganjoni money permitting.

Clothes
Yes you will benefit from getting a lot of light clothes, short sleeved and discard suits( hazifai yaani, si joto hilo baba) come sep-Mar

Transport
You can pretty much get transport to anywhere anytime mathree prices go up after 10.00 but not outrageously so, you should be fine.

Restaurants
Chaguo lako baba, utachanganyikiwa. Any food you want kiko.

Entertainment
lo, sijui tuanzie wapi, the list is endless...most popular discoes are north coast i.e, mamba, bobs,noons,tembo,kahamas...florida in town....sijui tutaje zipi.

People
Extremely friendly no strings attached......genuinely helpful and nice .

Am sure you are wondering if there are any down sides to all these perfection, besides taking a while to blend in i can't think of any. So good luck and enjoy isije "kutoka ikawa ni matanga tu".
