kweli kweli kabisa... Our young musicians have a problem of looking at the realities of life and living it. They just think that life is all about fun, sex, drinking, bling........ Poor values that have been instilled in our young generation through western influences of the glorified tv and internet.. It is a very sad state of affairs. That is why bongo flava from tz has made such great inroads into kenya. They sing and advice about the realities of life. It is given alot of airplay everywhere. Complaints have been raised by some of our local artists that they aren't getting enough airplay, but if u sing crap who will listen 2u.... In this time we need alot of healing, coming together, bridging of our communities, not thru politicians but through our music, art, culture. This is something our "very interesting" production houses are not capitalizing on.
