KENYA MADE IN CHINA

Their products they offload
Into the world trade
That have made an inroad
Littering river road
Through customs they wade
The counterfeits they masquerade
Often With a handshake they evade
The scrutiny of their grade
Clothes beddings and motorcade
The government pays accolade
Ignoring the home made
For this products that fade
Even cooking sticks and pomade
Are stamped made in china
Eggs salt and lemonade
Made in china
A saluting police parade
With clubs made in china
Soon it will be the Kenyan constitution
Made in china
A Kenyan flag reading, made in china
And my country on the world map labeled
Kenya made in china

First at your heading. If you can't spell the name of the country perhaps you're made in China!

Second I don't agree. We get a lot of low grade cheap stuff from China but buyers now know through countless episodes building experience that you buy 'made in china' at your own risk. The quality is so whack even the poor would rather put in the extra shilling for quality.

But on the whole, I would agree that the Kenyan products aren't given a fair chance to compete. Like clothes are much more expensive than 'mtush' so why bother. International designer labels are made in Kenya at EPZ's but the common guy can't afford even the 'dash' t-shirt.

On another line we're proud to be Kenyan. There's a time when we were getting cheap eggs from SA but then those idiots refused to let us sell their products their. We stopped importing their eggs and ran their chains like 'Debonairs' out of business with Kenchick.

Long live Kenya!

Silly me, and here I was thinking that Mashada threads are open for anyone's comment without one necessarily having tracked through the Poster's history. Clearly my fellow Shadites were clued in on this and that must be why they kept their distance. I will not search for your posts. Secondly, when write on an issue if you don't want comments thereon? Si you print a book!
