Default School me on nairobi's strip clubs!! - 04-13-2008, 02:35 PM

This is for the hardcore nairobians!!!

Im gonna be hittin kenya up in a couple of months and sadly despite hearing so much about these 'dens of the devil', i've never been to 1. i've heard about apple bees but i hear u don't wanna go there unless u want to be acquainted with kenya's world-famous muggers. and of course i've been robbed twice behind nairobis' 'iron curtain' (or as some call it nairobi ya chini) so im not exactly looking 4wd to touring those sides. i've heard of annie oakley's (tho i dunno where that is) and liddos (sp?)

Plus tell me about the new joints. Last time i clubbed seriously in nai was about 4/5 years ago but i hear most of my joints have been shut down. i'm really looking 4wd to be in a club where fights, stabbings and bottle-throwing are not part of the entertainment activities offered as is too often here in the UK. i've heard about black havana (in westi) and psy's bar. hook ur biy up wit da 4-1-1

Default Nairobi's hottest clubs - 04-17-2008, 05:55 AM

Can see that at least your updated kidogo. About the strip clubs never set foot at Lidos. The last time i was there sometime in Dec it was full of guys chewing miraa and it was so stuffy you need to carry your own fan a cold beer can only last for five minutes as a cold beer. The strip girls there need some hygiene lessons. i would definetly give it half a star rating. Apple bees isn't that bad especially if you have transportation means, dont walk!!!!!!!!!your way there. Therz also chillers at uptown town its at view park towers.
Clubs are way too many, especially at westie. Therez velvet, black diamond," never to die" Q'z, Red tape, Musuem hill therez Galileo, Alez house bado K2 and Choices are around but havent been there in a very long time.
Some advice Apple bees VIP is for the brave hearted.

Thanks for the input. where's view park towers btw??

and as for westi, its like chris rock says..'grand opening, grand closing',lol. i hit up a club, fly out, come back after 2 years and the club is closed. there was banditos, JKs, midas....i hit them up, next time i was home they were closed!! wtf?? so where's the new ones u've said? - black diamond and velvet

i saw one club 2 years ago called 'undecided'. really nice decor....but dammit every1 looked like primary school kids. and the worst thing was that the few old jamaas there were trying to vibe 13 and 14 year olds......eeewww!

'preciate the input 'Type R'
