This is a song by Yondo Sister I used to enjoy a lot back in the day. I found this song, and it just made me miss home. This music just made me home sick like crazy. Brought back lots of memories of those days I still cherrish growing up back home. The feeling of the African sun in the morning as I strode down by the fields of sugar cane to school, the feeling of the wind upon my face as I gazed out the bus' window at the sight of the rift valley, zebras grazing care free, the antelopes not too far beyond... while a flock of flamingos made their final approach for a landing at the lake. I could almost feel the cool breezes blow up the hills from the Lake Victoria below; the clackety clacks of the train as it emerges from a tunell to reveal the sights of women with heavy laden baskets on their way to the markets.. or simply the hustle-and-bustle noise of Nairobi on a busy afternoon. But it's saddening to see that we're loosing all this- the very things that are an intricate part of our identity, because two men cannot let go of their greed for power for the sake of our people. Dayum.
