Remember MOU? Was that not trashed as soon as Kibaki's henchmen took over?
In their short memory five years is equal to infinity! Now they are running
around like headless chicken asking us one more term. Imagine the arrogance
of the second term knowing that the "Dear leader" will not need our votes
again. Remember Matere Kereri, this late in the day, taunting Kenyans that
he advised the president soon after election to trash-out the MOU.

Am glad there are enough sober and articulate types like you.
Take a moment and imagine ile matusi these people will come out with if God forbid, PANUA was declared the winner on December 28th 2007.
Mavi ya Kuku, Pumbavu, and Upuzi mtupu, Bure Kabisa the president's choice epithets for all who don't view Kenya from the Mount Kenya prism will sound like a child-play.
"Kama unamtaka huyo kijana sana, mchukue mukafuge naye kondoo" Kibaki on Moi's choice for Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta as heir in 2002.
Then on 30th September 2007, the self same Kibaki joins Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta at the MISC Kasarani for Kanu's NDC in which the dazed and confused delegates are asked to endorse Uhuru's decision to back KIbaki's re-election.
"hatutakua na huruma na mtu yeyote atake jaribu kufuja mali ya nchi hii."
Kibaki on corruption during his inauguration speech on 30th December 2002.
Then on 24th November 2007, Kibaki hosts the who-is-who in Kenya's rich list where they pay to his election kitty upwards of a hundred million shillings.
Wow, was this money from individual savings, company profits, or from the ever thankful corruption industry and related robber-barons?
"I am inheriting a country badly ravaged by corruption, ineptitude and misrule"
Kibaki on the state of the Nation during his inauguration speech on 30th December 2002.
Today Kibaki has among his admirers and ardent supporters the architects of Goldenberg, and the patrons of Anglo Leasing! Now who lied to you that this support is for free?
This support comes at a very hefty cost to Kenya and her future generations.
It is time to say no to impunity, it is time to vote for real change.
