In 1990 my first night club experience at a popular disoctheque formerly located near nation centre oh! my can't remember its name ,may be it was called visions.I saw an irrated dad with two sons scanning the whole dance floor for his daugter, even the DJ was made to announce her name several times.i was petrified.

Default Disco experience - 12-04-2007, 12:19 PM

1st disco was in 95 (form 2) at Jokangi underground where Jahmbo sounds was playing reggae "jam sessions". I was very naive sat down the whole time and watched my pals dance with mamas...after that Jahmbo moved to Hollymbao and it became a regular ting for me during school hols....

Do u know the "Pirate" dance was invented by a guy called Pyre (pronounced pie-ray) from Jam Street/ Lovito Number 9 route during the F2 jam session days in the early 90's.

The guy is still legendary to date. Heard he is somewhere in US.

My 1st heng was a joint called Club Boomerang aka House of Funk. I was only 10. My cousin was a Dj there being trained by Paco Perez. To date, there is no joint thats beaten that place in AIR BASS.

(Yes, it was a jam-session.)
