how many make you a slut?

Just wondering, say you got into the thorny subject of the body count.. aka how many have been here before me.. what number would be unacceptable?
Is a man who can't honestly remember how many partners he had in the last year a dog, or just normal?
Is an unmarried woman who changes men once a year considered promiscuous?
Is there an age to partners rule of thumb about these things eg
women : 27 yrs old, 15 men = slut ,
men: 27 yrs old, 15 women = slacker?
I've been away for a while, just trying to figure out modern day kenyan sexual mores..

the last time i tried counting them i had to borrow toes and fingers from my two friends, later tried with a calc, gave up, then ran to the VCT! still waiting for dem results

A slut is just a slut irrespective of the number of patners.
A slucker is inheritance issue so there is nothing u can do about it.

I dont think one should be branded a slut by how many partners he or she has had....some people just love sex and a variety for that matter...

I agree with you.. I should have framed that question better... Was just wondering how candid people are about their sexual histories..rather prurient of me but what can I say?

Well, i think the issue of one being a slut depends on how they portray themselves. It doesn't matter whether its a dude or dudette, Self respect also matters.

So why is it that women equate having alot of sex(with different guys) with lack of self respect?

Cant they just say its just that...wanting alot of sex from different guys, tosha.

I think that if the queen mother herself slept with 10 guys in 1 night (for her perhaps even in her life time) she'd be considered a slut.

Damn good question but I have no answer for you. Just the thought that even when men are considered to be dogs for their sexual over-indulgence, they're regarded with a light of respect that does not apply to sluts (women). Society frowns on promiscuos women but not men.

Ok, let me phrase it differently.. say you're single, you've found the man/woman of your dreams.. would you discuss your sexual history with them, and if so how much would you censor it? How many partners would you admit to having? And what answer from your partner would make you think twice about them? Thats what I'm really interested in.. As for societies frowning on promiscous women, it depends on where. In the west there's a new tendency for women to glorify their inner slut as a way of taking control of their sexuality.. I personally met a girl out there whose goal was to sleep with a hundred men before she graduated.. which I think she did, and got happily married soon after..go figure.
