I haven't read David Yallop's book yet. I just heard of it and I'm ordering it this friday when I collect my pay check. Those two books are on my reading list for the month. My sis recommended them. Mahatma, have u read 'Angels and Demons' by the author of Da Vinci Code?

Hey JC
Ive read Angels and Demons by Dan Brown talking about the death of the Pope and the illuminati..the all seeing eye..wah!!! Dan Brown is one of my favourie authors he fanyaz his research thoroughly..you noticed also his stories happen in like a spun of 1-2days unlike others that usually take months and years... once I start reading his books I dont stop till its over... Back then reading about him talking about the death of the Pope I just never thought it would ever happen,

atleast I learnt about the Conclave and how the other cardinals choose another Pope and about the Smoke sign...and all that Vatican stuff

Infact there is no open campaigning on one's part for the papal position , someone else has to campaign for you.
Any signs of over-confidence may result to disqualification .Infact there is a saying that he who enters the conclave as a pope leaves it as a bishop .

U know, there was a time when the popes lived for a very short time?

http://www.reformation.org/murder-in-vatican.html

I did reach last night and I just realized that there have been 4 black popes.

First there was Pope Victor I who served from 186 A.D. until 197 A.D. He was responsible for continuation of the Easter feast on Sundays. He also condemned and excommunicated a dignitary, Theodore of Byzantium for not believing in the divinity of Jesus. Pope Victor I was made a martry by a black Roman Emperor called Emperor Septimus Severus. Emperor Septimus Severus lead Roman legions in Britain.

There was a Saint Miltiades I also called Melchiades. He served from 311 to 314 A.D. He lead the church against the Roman Empire.

There was Pope Gelasius 1 who served from 492 A.D. until 496 A.D. He was responsible from repossessing church from wealth citizen of Rome including a wealth woman called Femina. He condemned the Roman fertility rite Lupercailia and saved Roman from imminent starvation. He wrote many epistles including one to the Byzantine Emperor Anastasius explaining the relationship between church and state.

Another one was Pope Clement VII (Giulio de Medici) from 1523 to about 1534. He wa a diplomat first and a pope second which many people didn't like.

why is it that popes have to be waaaaay old.Now the incoming is 78.. not that I care too much cuz I'm Anglican but seriously that means he's already too old.Cann't the catho church just come up with the term thing.Say you are a pope for 10 years then you retire or resign. In that case they can have younger ones.Based on the fact that the pope's main work is moving around the world they need someone who is mentally and physically capable of long flights and lots of travel..sasa mwenye ameingia ni guka mwingine...eish people

>Any guesses who the new catholic pope is gonna be?

Recommended reading for those interested in the Vatican's operations;
- In God's Name.
- The Davinci Code.
- St.Peters Banker.

After this you will be shocked about the influence of P2, Free Masons in the Vatican.
