I bet everyone used to say this in primary!
halafu mume geuka inchi?
I pledge my loyalty to the president and the nation of Kenya
My rediness and duty to defend the flag of our republic
My devotion to the words of the national Anthem
My Life and strength in the Harambee task of our national building
My service to the course of Peace love and Unity
In the living spirit embodied our National Motto harambee nyayo.
namuli kunywa maziwa ya nyayo under oath!
The choices we make dictates the kinda life we lead
The choices we make dictates the kinda life we lead

I bet you that our very own prezo and the corrupt thieving foul samples of pathetic human beings we call MP's and ministers cannot recite that pledge.
yours truly was a scout so in addition to wearing those khaki shorts and green scarfs and while raising the flag every friday, we had to know both the pledge and the national anthem.
I quit scouting when the little girls started laughing at my stick legs! lol!
