I disagree.
I think it is important to carry out these studies in order to formulate policies that go towards improving the standard of living of ordinary wananchi.
I think wananchi need to take a long hard look at these figures especially in light of the upcoming elections, and then use them to challenge the aspiring leaders on their vision for the future of Kenya particularly as to how they intend to combat these grim poverty figures.
Also beyond the usual rhetoric, I would like to know why Central Province has a 32 % poverty rate yet the rest of the provinces have over 50% poverty rates.
These questions need to be addressed and the issue of education comes in because unless one can articulate an economic agenda for his people, they should not be elected into a leadership position.
