why dont u admit that u think that if u dont talk about all this issues then they will disapear.
kenyans are trying to re write the history that kenyatta was a bad leader.
im not in kenya because of anything but to make my future as i couldnt get admission in a MTC MEDICAL TRAINING CENTRE and had to come here and that was by hard work as all kyuks do.
i was selling mtumba in kikosh for my family business and saved enough to buy a one way ticket and im saving up to make it back home in 3 yrs.
and to all those kyuks who dont have the guts to talk out then ur not 100% kyuks and kyuks are proud of bieng kenyans and cant look as the country goes astray.

Im a kiuk but i can't speak kiuk. after what happened in january i don't even think i wanna learn how to. i remember feeling embarassed when people laughed at me for not being able to speak kiuk. Now these days, i simply look at them and say 'im a kenyan first. the day my ID or passport says kikuyu is when i'll learn kiuk'. im still proud 2 be 1 tho, don't get me wrong. and i'll learn someday........someday.........

btw whateva happened 2 da summer? last week was mahepi and the girls were lookin rite with their hot pants. now its back to the dreary weather. dear ol' england.....

After the 2nd world war, for britain to receive foreign aid they had to comply with the decolonisation process. I dont think wazungus left the country after they were threatened by maumau weilding machetes.

Umm, i think someone needs to go back and re-read their GHC textbooks. The maumau was a definite catalyst for independence. It wasn't just the murders of the wazungus (it was 32 btw), it was the fact that insecurity due to the insurgency made the country unstable and therefore ungovernable. Remember the lancashire regiment was brought to kenya, which means that they knew it was a real threat. Plus the european countries were broke after the 2nd world war

By the way, giving up the colonies wasn't a pre-condition for the Marshall plan. Remember, the US has had its own colonies in the caribbean and the pacific (panama, puerto rico, samoa, hawaii etc) - they just prefer to call it 'overseas territories'.
