Where were female teachers when male teachers impregnated the girls?

Enough curse for the male teachers who impregnated the school girls but we cannot just avoid this question;what did the female teachers do to stop them?or why is that they did not even raise the alarm?They are just as guilty as their male counterparts for their complicity.

Probably the female teachers were not aware of any liaisons going on. I would presume they don't do it openly.

Let's not put the blame game here... let's try and find solution to this really disturbing trend. These young girls are being robbed of their innocence and at the same time denied their right to education and nobody is doing anything about it. This is serious folks! This is genocide against women ... these girls are our future. I think this is a conspiracy by men to destroy and silence the future of women in Kenya??

I don't know about primary (primo life is good) but to answer the question in a high school context, as most chicks who studied in Kenya even for the shortest time would tell you, female teachers were probably distracted as they were checking the following:Why is your hair too nice? Why is your skirt too short/too long? Why is your face too smooth? What perfume is that? Why are you popular in the boyfriend sector? etc etc teheeheheh!
Most female teachers want to have simple unkempt or 'ugly' (for lack of a better word) female student So some people rebelled by having weird affairs with teachers (personally i think it's filthy) Maybe some people might call it 'love'

Having done part time teaching in primary, secondary, and middle class college during my past idle times, I can say that over 90% of the advances are done by the girls. You will find that up to half the girls in a class will be katiaring a single teacher who most of the time happen to like those advances.

The only time these affairs become cases of exploitation are when the girls get impregnated or infected with STIs. Otherwise these things will continue as long as the girls don't get educated on safe sex and sexual rights.

By the way anyone who can get pregnant when she has sex is not immature sexually. Blaming the male teachers is rather absurd.

As to the female counterparts, I think they are always somewhere envying the beautiful but young female students.

May be the question ought to be thrown to the parents of the girls.How much time do they spend with their children and how often do they expose them to counsel?

Jerry, you are spot-on. With 10,000 pregnancies, there must be at least 100,000 liaisons going on. Those that don't 'bear fruit' do not attract any attention - the iceberg effect.

High school is relatively understandable. I know of this primo odijo who is a serial impregnator of class 8 girls. Poverty in shags is his guaranteed survival means. He pays the parents a small compensation, and meets the abortion costs. The regional education officers also seem to be in his pocket.

As for high school girls, I too was a UT during my earlier incarnation. Thankfully, I was in a boys' school. And you are right, some of these girls can make a male teacher's life very difficult. I'm sure female teachers have their own tales about boys. I had a buddy teaching in a girls' school who told stories of girls intentionally taking very interesting sitting poses in class. Others making sure their bra-less tops are 90% exposed as you are busy teaching Boyle's Law! But well, he was one guy who didn't waste any time, but gladly took what was offered.

I tell you, I got so many "please come and help me solve this problem" requests from these girls. What education experts must include in the design of the curriculum is the sexual urges these girls MUST always endure.

What we should address is how to get sex with protection or encourage practices such as masturbation.

I don't know but sex between teachers and students is somehow here to stay...especially in girls-only schools.
