Most of this stuff is clandestine and furthermore, as a society, we've become numb to issues affecting our neighbours. It is "no one's business" hence the silence from everyone else let alone the female teachers.

Really? that would be a little hard for society to take on.

Ok. the sex with protection is ok.though what I think is in the case of the younger girls those in primary schools, more often than not it is the men who make the move and most insist on unprotected sex. so can't we introduce contraceptives in such cases?

We have managed to successfully reduce stigma associated with HIV/AIDS. Why not masturbation?

We are also on the path to reducing stigma associated with homosexuality. It's not long before homosexuals would have been granted "freedom of marriage".

European countries already advice their teens to masturbate at least once every day.

Jerry, you seem to be a committed advocate of what I consider a slippery slope. Some wise man once said: "Before you pull down a fence, ask yourself why it was erected in the first place."

Every time one of these things becomes 'legal', I cringe. We are knocking them down one-by-one, without regard to why they were installed. As long as king Science has no problem with it, we don't consider anything else.

Soon we will be questioning incest laws and mothers will start marrying their sons. Then we'll advance to marrying animals ...

Did I hear of a guy in Scotland whose sex partner was his bike? The only caution he got was not to do it in public and to keep off from the chain area.

The wise man of the bible wrote:

Ecc 7:15-17
Quote:
All things have I seen in the days of my vanity: there is a just man that perisheth in his righteousness, and there is a wicked man that prolongeth his life in his wickedness.

Be not righteous over much; neither make thyself over wise: why shouldest thou destroy thyself?

Be not over much wicked, neither be thou foolish: why shouldest thou die before thy time?
If masturbation is a wicked way of prolonging life, then it is a better lifestyle than a righteous sexual intercourse method that causes death through HIV/AIDS.

Teachers are sent to rural areas, hardship areas. Some are single, others leave families behind where children can go to good schools, or so that Mama can keep her good job/schooling.

Teacher is in a rural area. He doesnt speak the local language. The only available social places are shady bars with local music and women who look either like cheap langas or semi-lunatic drunks. He is too poor to attract the attention of any better-paid women from local parastatals or multinationals (who can afford to travel back to Nairobi every weekend, anyway, so that's not a good anti-loneliness move).

In this context, school girls look like angels.

In College , I was seriously harassed by a married female tutor.
Word was she was not getting enough from her drunk , no-good hubby.
.
The solution here is to enlighten our young girls and empower them to make right choices in their lives.
.
..(..she was not my type so she did'nt score .. )..

I still do not agree. the thought of coming back home to find my son masturbating or worse still, my daughter (sic!) makes me cringe. there is definately another way out.

We men are pathetic in such cases trying to defend the horny male teacher.....

Let me break it down both morally and legally....

In Kenya the age of conset is 16 years old. So if you have sex with anyone below that age whether they said yes or now is considered rape

The teaching profesion is a very noble profession that is meant to change the life of a child, therefore it is ethicaly wrong, and morally wrong for them to have any carnal knowledge with their student.

A good example is even a university professor...... They would get fired in a heart beat if caught having a relationship with a college student.

Now the girl child in Kenya has been abused for a long time and there laws in place are not strong enough.....

Let me go further and give you some unethical things that are not written in law books but in licencing boards
  • A doctor cannot have sex or a relationship with a patient
  • An immidiate boss cannot have sex or a relationship with his/her employess
  • A teacher cannot have sex with a student...

That said...... Does that means such things are not happening... yes they are...... Does that make it right hell to the no!!!!!
