Amazing! And to think that this is a leading newspaper in E Africa that doesn't have the sense to renew their domain or let their readers know when their website is going down? What kind of dunderheads work at the IT dept? How about paying for their domains for 2-5-10 years if possible? Honestly, is there any industry that works in Kenya? Maji, hakuna! Stima, hakuna! Chakula, hakuna! Security, hakuna! Pesa, hakuna! Gazetti, hakuna! Woi,woi, woi!

i dont think its accurate to call the standard a 'leading E.Africa newspaper' according to the audit bureau of circulation the paper sells btwn 30,000-35,000 copies per day while the nation does 85000-100000 copies, people buy the nation 4 serious news, the standard 4 sex stories n gossip.

How about the online readership? What are the stats there? I bet you the standard online edition gets more hits than the nation online edition. You know people love and thrive on 'muchene' etc.

That is what happens when you have useless goons as leaders. When greed trumps national service. Useless Ngombez.

Default This is the new one: www.standardmedia.co.ke

No, it has not been hacked.
They changed their DNS name to The Standard | Online Edition :: Home

They are copying Nation.co.ke.
However this is very careless of them. They should have kept the old one and redirected people to the new website.
They must be broke.

The Standard | Online Edition :: Home
