I don't know how Ngilu and Maathai escaped my mind.Yep,those two can do it. Maathai is an international international figure, awesome indeed(but she needs to do her hair)

And Mrs Odinga is a wonderful speaker, well presented, and learned. I think of all these people only Passaris isn't very academic. Me likes people who speak from the brain

The thing i like about Karua is her ability to speak up.Most women don't have that.Yes she made a mistake supporting Kibaki, but see how great she came out of it,Karua was praised by so many people for her voice. She would have made ALONE,no help from Kibbs was needed.
And then there is Justice Aluoch...although i doubt she is into politics...

im not much into kenyan politics but from the little iv seen, karua is too much of a drama queen and is over sensitive. yes she has the education and experience in govt but hana utulivu. she always thinks pple critisize her becuase she is a woman. this is not always the case. she always wants to use force instead of reason... and thats why she wud never get my vote hata na leso na kilo ya sukari bure!

on the other hand, ngilu and martha karua, i wud def wake up at 4 am and go que at my local primary school to vote for them ! amongst many other qualities, they are calm and level headed but at the same time very strong when need be!

Default unbelievable!

currently Ms Karua cannot go to her own constituency without police escort because of some garbage talk she gave a few weeks ago, which everyone interpreted to mean she supports a terrorist organization, that incidentally was terrorizing her own constituents.
so she will not win her parliamentaly seat, leave alone prezi. She is finished politically.
And i have lived in Kenya all my life and can see Kenyans who live far away sometimes do not know what is happening in Kenya.
My only choice: Prof Wangari Maathai. she lost her parliamentary seat cos she refused to play the ethnic agenda that was prevalent then.

I still think the only reason why Karua will fail in a lot of things is her dealings with Kibaki. This woman can make it anywhere ALONE. People used to like Karua, PNU ruined her.

tru. When people remember karua, all they remember is the difficult days of pev, and that every time she opened her mouth people died. Martha may have been genuine in defending her side, but it did not come accross that way. It simply became: oh, so she was only a reformer during moi days..mmm..tribalist she is. If she can convince kenyans that she is the reformer she was before she got duped, she has a chance. Common thieves like ruto & jirongo (y2k fame) became angels, even questioning karua's leadership skills. Sad kabisa! leadership is common sense at times. Her singing the rule of law, let them go to court...no good. And namwamba if down that road. Maybe a giriama shud rule.

LOL

I'm sooo out of touch with Kenyan politics it's embarasing. I would go with Wangari Maathai any day. She's world renowned n she's been around politicians for decades.

Haiya!

It was a free-for-all? I thought we were restricted to the 3 choices! In that case, I would vote for myself! REDI FOR PRESIDENT!!

I am a woman, hungry for power and need to get-rich-quick!

How the hell did you come up with the name idd odinga? she is just an omena cook for her husband, there are other better jaluo leaders like professor julia ojiambo and the like.

LOL, no, she doesn't just cook omena I have just googled her. You know she got brains? She's not one of those pretty faces who sakanya famous husbands to get fame and then suddenly what to share the fame, even where big brains are needed (we have a few of these in Kenya)That's not to say being an MP in Kenya needs brains. There are many, many academic dwarfs in the Kenyan parliment Me thinks, if she was to enter politics, she could make it.Although she would have to start from being an MP etc to gain fame. I also like the way she is particular about her image.A woman gotta look good. Passaris too.Smart dresser. They know what to wear. Karua is not eti supuu but she does not wear gunias. And i still love her. You can't dress like a gunia just because you have brains!
