Default @ mr nice - 04-13-2008, 11:18 AM

i know this is kinda a bit late to respond to this thread but i must agree with this dude called ...'mr nice'....yes the one and only queen of embu and eastern province was and still remains...'KYENI GIRLS HIGH'...(RED SKIRTS) ingawa admin ilituweza na uniform we still mantained our status in the society.

I am still trying to recover from the shock of someone mentioning ati 'nthagaiya...kiriari.... etc they never even existed in the dictionary of 'well known' schools and i still dont think they are there yet. If they want to get there, they must consider changing their names first!

Any evidence required to prove the above fact.....i refer to music & drama festivals, sports competitions etc... all schools bowed down to the 'queens' and you might as well browse through the history of school fights btwn our main suitors kangaru sch vs ovotes!

I REST MY CASE!

PS. I have just remembered we had a nickname for Moi H. Mbiruri.....we called them CHOLERA....LOL! don't ask me why....

Good old days..Lost track of people, lost track of the school. Can't even establish a website for Kangaru!! Nakumbuka....3 Nelion Vs the World in rugby on that field, very eventful day, we chapad the entire school in rugby and that day the DH capi (who was also the Rugby capi and you know that they had the Embassy as their residence ) was so salty that some 3N rugby players 'covered' githeri!

Had a slang to our way of saying things:
Covered - miss something, mostly food..Nimecover deca
Deca - quarter bread
Kiss- cleaning basically used in punishment terms
Trench- the smoking spot. Mostly a toilet that was always clean and located at the very tail of the school near Gichugu (may be) house!
Mono,umethea?- Has a bom 1 given a senior a deca
kumethoka - **** ain't good b!

Okay can't thing of exclusive terms we used!

Wengine wetu wamepotea wengine wame die, wengine wamendelea, wengine wame fly na wengine bado tu wako na tabia mbaya!
