mmm am not from Sukari but I knew afew pple like kina Cyrus(cyro) he went to USA and kina Daniel Mugo(Maich) and his bro Mbogo who went to India and never came back. Its now 10 years and Mbogo is still in college, India. One wonders. I recall Buju the matatu. It was Orange and very comfortable those days when it had good music as Shaggy had just come to Kenya and his ngomas were hitting. yeahh I knew the makanga and dere. I could see them hanyaring chics. Anyway Buju is no more. Sukari is like shags nowadays.

When the Kenyatta family sold some of its property near Ruiru, a new estate, 'Wembley', was created. That's the 'new Kahawa Sukari'. When I was home a few years back, Calabash was looking so run down. Neighbor's bar was still around. Even that 'ka-butchery' at the side of Happy Valley Supermarket was still thriving.

I remember the Judy saga. I think she was going out with a dude called Ken. I heard that he had sent his boys to jump her cos she was cheating on him. Unfortunately, it turned into more than a 'beating'.

There is someone I know kumbuka: there was a guy called Njure Kibe. He had a very polite sis called Muthoni who is now in Stato, either in Minnesota or Oregon.

wow...i have been in statoe for like 4ever n never knew there were all this peeps from shuge here........especially jibril,am in NY too....about that kanana chica, ijuad her cz we were neighbours n our dads worked pamoja,her bros...i also jua kina pauline,ken,maich oh men almost kila mtu u guys mentioned. i was home juzi n men c shuge has changed ebu u guys kip this thread goin its bringing memories!!!!!!
