Nice to see someone who went to Uhuru primo. I also went to school at Uhunye, although it was a while back..... early 80's. We moved from Jeri in '87, but I still maintained ties with my peeps in Uhunye and Jeri.
As for the guys you mentioned, I can't recall any of them, pole. I been away from Jeri, and Kenya for that matter, for quite a while. I know akina Adas, Mashaa and Gidii (gishane's brothers), and also....... Karis, Steve, Mbatia (right next to Uhunye shops.

Am talking about the Steve who used to live right behind Uhunye shops. He has a big bro, who came to stato a few years back, one sis, and a few other younger bros (najua sasa ni ma-mbuyu). I can't remember the younger bro's names though. His budaa, RIP, had a Citroen and died in the early 90's, I think. The period am talking about is early 90's to 1995, vile nilitoka Kenya.
Mbatia aka Muluu used to live in the first hao right next to Uhunye shops. I heard he ran for narc nominations in last year's election but lost. He has a big bro called Zack or Zack Zon.
Karis also lived in the neighbourhood and has a younger bro called Tony... niliskia Tony alimaliza Uni. They used to live a few haos from akina Mash, who's older bro is Ochi mashtuko's aka Ochi Ninja aka Ochi so-many-other-names. A few haos up was akina kagiri, and his bros Kamalee and Ghost.
There's a lot of peeps I knew in Uhunye, but unfortunately can't remember their names.

Your sister's and bro's name sound familiar, but I can't quite place them. Where did they go to chuo? Where did u guys live. We used to live in the first hao in Jeri, on Rabai rd, right next to Uhunye and Harambee, but moved out in '87.
Your right, Mash was a big bully out there. I remember point 5's near Jamaa but can't remember their names. The only people I can remember near Jamaa was Ngatia (used to repair radios as a hobby back in the 80's), Rita, Gidi, Adas

I heard about Steve's saga..... so sad. But at least his big bro, Gishane, is a lawyer, or was gonna to be one?? at least that's a plus in the family. I was actually in the same class with Adas and Gidi at Uhunye. Uhunye near kismenti had a few ma-bad boys back then, hopefully they've all grown up and changed. We had lots of fun though.... duffing at dam chacha, fishing, hunting at Umoja II before the esto was built, inter-estate soccer, Safo, and later when we were almost legal age hanging out at kismenti etc the list goes on and on. Those were the good old days.
Did your sis clear Uhunye in '86? I remember I had a classmate called Jane.... could be your sis, I dunno. So are u in Stato now, and if so, where? Do you know anyone else from back home who vukad over here (Stato)? I'd love to meet jamaas from back home.
