loool, don't you guys make me fel cool in mashada! i am a naks guy...born and brought up there and i am still there. who is this guy who was at christ the king my siz is boarding there now...damn expensive girls school these days. and the menengai guy..i did only one week there before proceeding for boarding in molo. then the njonjo gals babe...i was in laikipia campus and your headmistress accused us of spoiling you..so we vowed to revenge and invited a hoard of adolescent chicks to the campus..oh my god! weren't they boned! and then there was this chick from the rich karuga family who was boned till she couldn't walk by guys who had taken toivo fron viewpoint...ha, ha, ha, ha! crazy times! the afraha mashadite, do you remember mr. ombago, the maths teacher damn, i was in his tuition at the railway place and he was cool. afraha used to have a football grudge with menengai high. xavier was just a damn chuo...my two buddies taught there before running to the states.
yo guys, i tell you we are still kicking the place. we go to the players theare and have a play or two; sometimes to the athletics club for rudge. and then we go noising at courtyard before retiring in mahogany at dimples..we leave the disco for the kids. i was camping at lake nakuru some time back and it was fun. by the way, do you recall those days we used to fight with nairobi guys over babes we could beat them up and then they would deride us over our brown teeth...them cowards and the gang wars volcano, eruption, PLO, ninjas..i forget what the ronda guys used to call themselves! damn, we fought so badly the cops would think twice before they came in. and the 1990 clamour for multipartism the GSU guy are damn crazy, i tell you! well, the same old naks is there and expanding outwardly. guys are moving to lanet, pipeline, kiamunyi and such. it still lacks a variety of sweet spots and when it is dry, you can imagine the problem. many guys are running abroad and to other towns especially as there is no chapaa vile.
so naks roughies, welcome to mashada and do enjoy your times! i will definitely be adding you to my buddy lis and we can form a naks gang to protect each other in mashada. and say, are soe of you guys thinking of being in nakuru soon hey, do me a private message and i will see if we can organize a naks tour for all of you. meanwhile, i will keep you posted on what is up!
by the way i was in flamingo primary, then mene kidogo before going to the st. joseph seminary in molo and egerton. currently i am doing many money things in and out of naks while doing some post graduate someplace va correspondence. and i am political, intelligent and NAKS DAMU!!!!

Nakuru's Dirty Laundry! -
05-02-2002, 02:21 PM
I shouldnt be doing this but the article by Madiang is funny and I hadnt read it when I posted above.
Nakuru cannot be mentioned in one breath without bring up some names that crack me up when I meet some peeps from there and we remenisce....
For starters who Kumbukas the gang wars ....The big culprit being a George Murara who used to claim his dad was a CID ...he and some two buddies used to have a gang until they were clobbered by the Muslim group called PLO.. Murara at one time was a bouncer for a week at Club Denise which didnt last for too long. The PLO and other gangs from Langa and Koinange were crazy and also some Brothers whose names i cant recall but used to go boxing at that place near Kuku Den. They did cause alot of terror.......
For those who grew up in the "Surburbs" as in Shabey ....yu must remember the SI UNIT for slutness....The Three Musketeers...As in the Mbacio sisters.....they had a quoro of babes from some shop whose names also I cant recall....
What about the Aids rumors...i think at one point all the people from Nakuru were rumored to be caring the Aids virus.....what about that guy Omutavi? Some clean cut, well dressed Luyha dude....who used to have aka walk...
I also grew up thinking that Micheal Jackson was that dude that used to dance in Oyster and who also looked like MJ.............
What about the debut of those funny guys selling mitumba clothes and walking aroung NAC dressed like boys to men in shorts and walking sticks....please....that was comical.....
Talking of NAC...I think this is the weekend of the legendary TEN-A-SIDE tournament...when the peeps from Nai storm the town and paint it red...
Akina Jotham Owili, Steve Gichuki, Enos Otieno ...Ben Owili, Allan Omuyaku, Lemmy Mwaura, Billy Sato, Eric Chuma, Mad Max, Kitazi, Small T, Simon Githae, The Matibe Brothers, ...those guys gave the city boys a run for their money and can proudly say I saw the first Ten A Side when they beat Nondies to take the cup........
As for the city itself....Mayor Kanyi of back in the day had it as the cleanest place and used to charge a service fee for your trash bin....which was later brought to you with the insignia MCN........nowadays I wonder whether those are a collectors item.........
Thats the Nakuru I remember......forget the dusty, neglected place it is now...
Dont send me any hate mail........take it for what it is.....
