So @pam,

Take your time to think situations out. I gotta give this guy props for what he has believed in stickin' to you and you should not just overlook that. This should tell you something, but on the other hand, do you not trust him? Why do you have a reason to think he wants sex and you already told him that you ain't ready for that? I think you first need to really observe things and situate yourself first before you try and situate this situation. You gotta know and understand your instincts and feelings first be4 you step out there to do what your next step may be.

this doesn't really give the whole picture
but given how well u know his family/friend circle
it should give u better understanding of how real he is, from what u see.

if u r not really in his family/friend circle
don't worry ur head about if he is real, for he very well could be or not
what is more important is it seems u don't know him well enough. So get to know him, but don't limit urself, see other guys i really believe he wants u to.

and if he told u he doesn't want to hurt, which means he is capable of and he will in the future.
So u can thank him and move on.

Pam, You will never know if a guy is for real or not. There is no formular to determine who is and who is not. The part one plays in anothers life might/mighnot make the other person realize what they want and then do they pursue. You can love someone and they can love you back but if the two of you don't complement then it might be a tough ride. Take a day at a time and love without care or regrets. If you are afraid of getting hurt you will never learn how to love. How do you feel about this guy? If you like him take your chances....drop the panties you will eventually have to do it.
