I am an old gal of the 1990 class!!! I was Ann Njagi's class mate.
That is one place I will never forget. I am a Catholic who was persecuted for refusing to get saved. By the time we did our 4th form exam, I was the only one who was not saved in our class and have kept my faith to date. (Call me a rebel....I dont care, remember pretenders are worse than murderers.)
My one distinct memory was the day we were made to stand by the road side and wait for the Prez as he went back from Nairobi from Embu. Someone unleashed them bees and the Headmistress (who had applied Lady Gay on her face and hands)was stung like there was no tomorrow!!!!! As usual the Prez gave a total of Kshs. 20,000 for a party that never surfaced. It was the most amusing day of our lives in that school.
I am proud though of the fact that some of the Music Festival certicates hanging in the Headmistress' office were due to my contributions.
I may have disliked some of the policies in that school but I met and made good friends and that gave me the drive to be who I am!!!
