Hahaha as they waste the last few days of their freedom away icc is busy at work..... Kibaki na raila ni mbule tu... Mbule kabisa.. Press release: 06.11.2009 the situation in the republic of kenya assigned to pre-trial chamber ii icc-cpi-20091106-pr473 situation: republic of kenya on 6 november, 2009, the presidency of the international criminal court (icc) issued a decision assigning the situation in the republic of kenya to pre-trial chamber ii composed of judges ekaterina trendafilova, hans-peter kaul and cuno tarfusser. The presidency had received from the prosecutor a letter, dated 5 november, 2009, indicating its intention to submit a request for the authorisation of an investigation into that situation considering that “there is a reasonable basis to proceed with an investigation into the situation in the republic of kenya in relation to the post-election violence of 2007-2008”. http://www.icc-cpi.int/nr/rdonlyres/...icofkenyat.pdf

if what you are saying is true, that must be very good news indeed. The era of impunity in Kenya can only end when ICC surprises the 'doubters' by indicting those responsible for the genocide.
BTW: ICC is not bound by the Waki report. They have their own mechanisms, so any big man involved in the violence should not assume he is safe.

Good to hear this.

Mr Ocampo held a press conference this morning and was told that there were more people who wanted to present more evidence.

He said they can do that but he thought he had enough evidence and witnesses.

so Ocampo said Waki did a great job? So now we know who will go to the hague what i know is that Ocampo has prioritized Kenya's case, because it is feared that if they didn't act fast, we might go the 1994 Rwanda way. Anyway, we know the top five suspects.
