Everything in every democracy is done with elections in mind. Muslims are Kenyans and as such are a voting block that must be appeased by politicians one way or another. ignoring them would be foolish. Love them or hate them but that is the fact! That said, we must not be blind.

Man the issue here is simple a group of so called Christian organisations are trying to remove Khadis court, Link man just google it. It not threat it simple in fact we are fed up with constantly trying to prove ourselves to kangaroo courts. I think the good things is the gover is goner make sure muslims voice is heard and whatever we want is granted if the need is genuine. For a muslim khadis court is very important to us. They fools simply have no argument and thankfully do not enjoy majority of kenyans support in their wickedness.

It stupid argument to say that we would ask for more, Well i have news everyone in Kenya has rights and whoever excercise it fully following correct methods is entitled to reap the reward. They fail to understand that most laws in Kenya are not secular but of Christian origins, So if someone say our fellow Christians are following Secular laws and that everyone else should follow it. I would like to say everyone who is against Khadis court is simply a muslim hater or Atheist who at least i could understand but coming from so called Christians.....Talk about a wolve in sheep clothing.

Well said bro....but my question is why hate? where is it coming from, give me a clue cause the kenyans never haboured with these hates?

is it being preached from pulpit?

i know the media has played big role in spreading hate but cmon would any normal human being believe that all muslims are a threat?

my hunch is hate is being preached in Church by outsiders who feel threatened by Islam and so therefore they demonise it to extent people act on it against their fellow Kenyans.

Man time is a great healer....and it me belief that hate spreaders cannot fool people all the time. Kenyans is on road to destruction due to people looking to cause enmity amongst people...one time it Kikuyus vs rest or luo vs kikuyus or all against Luos or Kalenjin vs others....now it Muslim vs Christians but good things is people are not buying enough.

it is open to interpretation.

but i think the muslims ought to take the initiative to tell people what these things are about. not just some one liner ati 'they handle family, inheritance issues and such like things' which is basically all they have done. where there is no information, theories abound. about taliban and al shabaab..

they should clearly tell people what their roles will be their boundaries and limitations and their muscle. moreso the muscle these courts will have. because if determined they can influence a lot more than is being let known, muslims will be taken as having ulterior motives.

Hussein, bro, dont worry, most kenyans are with you. I for one cant stand that b.itch called Margaret Wanjiru and her ilk, a pretender who has been a prostitute, consulting witches for riches, and everything that is vile in a human being. Now this religious conwoman is purporting to be talking for kenyans, and you wonder how come we are in this mess with such leaders? The way we are going on here you would think it is the muslims who were burning people in churches and in houses in eldoret and naivasha. The church has lost all moral authority to lead, most of these preachers would be thieves if they didnt have an easier way of conning kenyans. Umagine one preacher selling packets of soil to kenyans, claiming it is holy.

Think of it this way..the kadhi's courts have been there since before you were born (assuming that you are not more than 150 yrs old), assuming that you are in the late twenties i can imagine that you have been following the news for the past 10-15yrs. Had you ever heard of Kadhi's courts before some people wanted to remove them from the constitution? If the answer is no, then ask yourself why they would affect you now if they didnt affect you before the issue was politicised.

Thanx Omin for the link. That shows that the info is there but some people are just lazy and prefer to follow the crowd like sheep. A kenyan suffering from islamophobia is the most absurd thing that can happen. We are quick to shout racism when we are abroad but we are the biggest racists. We hate muslims, hindus, jaluos, kikuyus, arabs, etc and then dont understand how whites can be racist towards africans. Style up Kenya, let us open our minds and be curious and try to find info for ourselves..A dozen muslims blew up the american embassy and killed innocent kenyans, a dozen kikuyu attacked in naivasha, a dozen luo burnt shops in kisumu, a dozen kalenjin attacked in RV, that doesnt mean we should hate all groups regardless of what individuals in that group think or say.

We are all individuals and we should look at people as individuals, get to know them if you are interested, otherwise just respect and go your way. In my opinion thats the only way forward. We have much in our hands today other than wasting time on issues that dont affect us, like kadhi's courts or 2 men getting married in London. Let us identify our real enemies, the ones who loot from our meagre resources every day and night, divide us along lines they find convenient, all while their children party together in european capitals and we struggle to feed our families and to pay the taxes so that they can loot more. Look at the papers, money meant for aids victims dissapears, money for dams dissapeared, money for free education dissapears etc. Lets talk about that and how the constitution can be changed to make sure that in the future the thieves in suits will pay severely..

Thanks bro...Yes Kenyans have no issue with Islam it in fact well respected despite people spreading hate...I think people cannot be fooled all the time and it time we stood for ourselves and May god give us true leaders...Ameeen

The Church tragedy is shocking in that in our history the mosque, church are respected by all kenyans. Forgiveness only comes when real criminals are arrested.....Believe me Kalenjins are much a victims as we all are...Let hope war crime is implemented...cause the same people's are going around causing problem for Kenyans all over again.

let not habour criiminals in our midst be he your tribe cause in end they would turn on you...Just check out mungiki they started as reaction to poverty and inequality they then tutned on their own people...It a good warning for everyone.

Man you hit it with one ball...well said

My only suprise a poor Kenyan defending a rich thief on basis of tribe? how odd and poverty our brothers are suffering is no joke..i grew up near mathare and attended school with people fromt the slum....Man you learn very how lucky we are and sharing everything was order of the day...You name it we shared it. that to me is brotherhood politicians cannot remove from our hearts....Funny those days we all respeted each whatever tribe your friend was it was a non issue.

Also collective punishment of whole tribes due to few madmen is not good. We need to embrace each other and isolate the mad men. Man that Wanjiru is after only one thing power, money...she has no sense of shame or dignity...Wanjiru to me is hypocrite....it would back fire in big way...you simply do not play with lion mistaking it for a cat..etc Maina Njenga, Ruto, Raila...these people would have her for breakfast.
