How can you preach the holy gospel without thinking about those that gave life to you albeit generations ago? Spend a minute or two on thoughts about them .I think they deserve it.

We must all remember that the old Afrika was Islamic with strong Afrikan traditional influence and well founded islamic roots. The great Mali Kingdom and their great leaders such as the legendary El Hajj Mansa Musa was a muslim who took pilgrimage to Mecca. It was under Musa that Timbuktu became one of the centres of knowledge not only in Afrika but even beyond. Timbuktu is still remembered for its libraries and the great Madrasas. I even dare to declare that the decline of Afrika began the moment we deviated from the religion of out great kings.

The moment we went into christinity is the exact moment that mental slavery of us as Afrikans began. We became brainwashed and started singing as peter tosh said 'love wash me and i shall be whiter than snow'. This is when we started believing in the false teachings of white supremacy and our spirit, as a people, started going down as we lost our self respect as a people. We lost our confidence and in turn we lost everything that we had and what we believed in. We started becoming a target of well organised kidnappings and enslavement in Americas, and at home became vulnerable to economic exploitation, as colonialism started setting in with the scramble for Mama Afrika.

Yes, let us free our mind people, and fight the brainwashing of our children. Let us go back to the ways of our fathers and declare our gods supreme as the indians continue to worship their gods.

Let the musas, daudis, mamadous, keitas, makonens,be our prophets. Let us praise jah, let us prays to nyasae, and may ngai be our god, let assis be worshipped and let us all declare freedom from the spirit of confusion..

Nietzsche to me was a philosophical demolition man, then again, Socrates tells us the beginning of knowledge is knowing you don’t know ... risking wrong interpretation from the small minds of the likes of Nyege2, let me mention that Nietzsche is one of the philosophers who have put a lot of thoughts on the existence of God, others being St. Augustine, Francis of Assisi. The idea you alluded to of "physical" vs. "spiritual" existence/birth/ are immho critical in our believes ... Nietzsche looked at religion as an ideology setup by churches, he contrasted Jesus to Christianity in that Jesus was a unique being who established a moral evaluation ... here you can see why I call Nietzsche a philosophical demolition man ... he left very little for folks to believe in.

Jesus was not a Western European and his teaching were based on the teaching of his heritage which were drawn from his Hebrew culture and was probably first preaching against the Roman occupiers of his homeland. Judaism, Islam, and Christianity all start from the same direction, through the 5 books of Moses. Christianity and Islam have roots and branches from the Hebrew tradition, which have strong derivatives from the religious ideas of the monotheist Pharaoh Akhenaten.

Africa was never really an Islamic continent. Islam was only founded in the 7th century, in the year 630AD, by which time Christianity and Orthodox Judaism had existed in parts of Africa for at least 6 centuries. Islam was at it's foundation a protest against Christian persecutionist and conquest crusaders plus the Mongol invaders. It was just after the year 1000 that Islam was established in sub-Saharan, mainly west Africa.

There has being more Bloodshed upon the race of humanity since the advent of that one Religion called Christianity, founded under the Roman Empire. The two arms of Islam, Shia and Sunni appear to be at loggerheads with one another, one has a strong wing of old Judaism and the other Christianity. Traditional Judaism isn't evangelical, it is still in its existence, it does not persecute or adventure in bloodbath conquest, here is where Jesus teaching was coming from.
