Default How is Kenya beautiful?    Show Printable Version  Print   Email this Page  Email

I have read and viewed some images posted in a different thread by baharia mzenge. In his thread, it is obvious that he considers Kenya´s beauty in the sky crappers of Nairobi or any one tall building in Kenya. Those buildings are not the reason tourists say Kenya is beautiful. Infact, if it was about tall buildings, then Kenya is just but one big slum.

The beauty of Kenya lies basically in her scenaries, falls, culture, diversified wild game, rivers and lakes, languages, historical sites and cetera. The beauty of Kenya has little or nothing to do with physical structures. It is shameful that Kenyans don´t understand the beauty of their country.

Otherwise the buildings that many of you think make kenya beautiful are western technologies which was either constructed by them or copied from them. Let´s not be too noble in thinking....

Since I don't understand the beauty of Kenya, you should start a thread to enlighten me and my ilk.

Just to answer this man from Sidindi,

Beauty is so many things.

Yes, it is the flora and the fauna, the scenic beauty of the Rift Valley, the rivers, the rivulets, the brooks and the lakes, and it is also the buildings.

It is the people.

It is the unbelievable weather.

It is everything.

Baharia was right.

Wow!

I am a genius too.

I thought all this by myself.

.......do we have skyscrapers in Nairobi?

You guys are posting all these pictures, but not writing where it is from.
As Native Son said, beauty is a lot of things. I am enjoying seeing it all.

Some showed me the pictures of the roads in Kalenjin area before and the scenery that you would see as driving up. That was really pretty.
Let me see if I can find them...I am going to be borrowing them from someone..hope they don't mind.

I concur with jaugenya.

After checking on the reference made by jau on baharia mzenge´s separate thread, it´s a proof that many of us thinks that the beauty of Kenya lies with her physical structures. Yes, the buildings are beautiful but they are found everywhere. I have never visited a single country without tall buildings..(Tall buildings obviously do not make Kenya to be refered to as beautiful).
