I hope you are not suggesting that Moi was better or that Ruto(who may soon be charged) would do a better job. Woman, careful what you write about people.
Its obvious you are one human soul filled with hatred towards Kikuyus. As it is, Raila or Kalonzo may lead the country in future. They may very well warm up to those you consider your enemies in an effort to get to the top post. In the end, the tribe that you so much hate will go on fine if not better. In the meantime, KP whats going to happen to your community? Can they quite survive like Kiuks and control the streets of Nairobi or they will end up naive unable to mention their second names or speak in public because of the backlash. That of course would be wrong and this is what you should be asking or trying to avoid. I am glad that my Coastal brothers are always united so that the region is not shortchanged. |

For more than two decades as Kenya's head of state, the second longest serving president in Sub-Saharan Africa -- Moi has remained what has been described as a "tribal paramount chief writ large". Detentions and political trials, torture, arbitrary arrests and police brutality reminiscent of the colonial era have become common during Moi's tenure. He perceives human rights generally as alien and Euro centric conceptions inconsistent with African values and culture. The use of militia to instigate violence on behalf of KANU and the government began with the 1991-1993 ethnic clashes. To attack opposition groups, "Kalenjin warriors" donned traditional attire and used arrows from South Korea transported by helicopters. |
