Raila is now choking what was already hanged.

So many professions, regulatory, licensing bodies are stifling developments in all professional fields.

Kenya professionals are less than 5% of the Total population and less than 13% of the Working population.

Let anybody who has a professional degree or qualification work with ease and strengthen the legal redress system. Nigeria has overcome it, India, China, America name them and Australia is moving already in that direction by inviting hordes of professionals.

Funny that of the 13% existing Professionals, one individual sits in an ad hoc committee regulating or licensing itself, hence cliques within Professionals that is replicated across the entire spectrum.

That it is not good practise as a nation to preserve positions in regions for home boys alone. For example KPA is not a preserve of the coast people. It was built by tax payers money from every Kenyan.

However due to politics and regional balancing I think government should give a person from the coast if only he merits the job. Ability should be the attribute to consider then may be appointing authority may consider the tribe of the appointee.

Raila never intended to demean coast people. Thats cheap politics. of what gain is there by demeaning them?
