Default Kimunya now says Orengo asked for Ksh 3m bribe. - 07-07-2008, 06:54 AM

This must be true. I have been wondering why its only Orengo calling for Kimunya's resignation. Kimunya should tell us more.

The Standard | Online Edition | Headlines |Kimunya: I’d rather die than resign

.........The battle over the sale of the hotel promised to turn murky as the Finance minister sensationally claimed that Orengo blew the whistle after "his bid to solicit a Sh3 million bribe from a legal firm involved in the sale was turned down."

"Orengo went public after he was denied a bribe of Sh3 million he demanded from a Mr Adan, one of the lawyers involved," Kimunya said.

He challenged Orengo to deny ever making the bribe demand.......................

Sweet Jesus, this is getting interesting... OK, what's more? It seems we are in for a comical treat with this Grand Regency thing starring Amos Kimunya and James Orengo.

Whether he denies or not doesnt matter coz we know the truth. Anyway, did you expect Adan to accept that he was approached?

Honestly speaking, do you think they would have confirmed Kimunya's claim?

come to think of it..why would Orengo ask for only 3 million from a deal worth close to 7 billion?.. we'll wait and see the outcome of the defamation case Orengo has just lodged against Kimunya and what kind of evidence he would produce in court to prove his bribery claim

How come you seem to know so much about the case - even more than Kimunya and Orengo?

just goes to show the ignorance and misinformed views of some kenyans, have u checked on the thread "Kimunya is right,.........", u shuld for ur own sake, make an informed verbal dirrhoea and maybe u get to save ur a@@ someday? there has always benn more to the gr than some cheap politicians want their cheap supporters to beleive, so as they are saying lets watch the space but again get informed on the gr issue and stop the railaphobia(domo domo tu)

its was a small deal of 2.9B not 7B as orengo was saying. when did orengo became a valuer of lands nor an accountant? it is becoming apparent orengo was short changed in the deal by his principal and since he could not have accused Raila he thought of Kimunya.

Since the "we" knows the truth , could you please ask this "we" to explain why Kimunya has only now decided to make this accusations only when cornered? Are we to assume the likes of Kimunya will only report any wrong doing only when their necks are on the line?

God help me to do only what I can and trust You for the rest. Do you mind putting that in writing?
