Kimunya's incompetence should not be used a political tool to fan tribalism.he failed to perform his duty as a minister and turned a blind eye to a corrupt deal.if one of the objectives of this coalition is to fight corruption then it is only fit for kimunya to resign.blaming the pm will not exonerate him from his failure as a minister.the lobbying by pnu ardents in support of kimunya will set a very vicious cycle of graft tolerance.we have a very good example just next door.

The senior minister was searched recently by five officials from the prevention and combating of corruption bureau (pccb), office of the inspector general of police and attorney general's chambers and intelligence and the uk's serious fraud office (sfo). I agree - the tribe should not be used to defend some one who has been suspected of being corrupt.

I also agree that those with charged in court for being corrupt should also step aside. I wonder which ministers and assistant ministers have court cases against them - their silence in Kimunya's matter is very loud indeed. I wonder who these are!
