Default Raila's kikuyu elder plans postponed - 07-04-2008, 04:01 AM

Prime Minister Raila's installation as a Kikuyu elder has been postponed. The Ceremony had been scheduled for July 20.

According to Peterson Kuguru, one of the main oragnisers, said that the ceremony was postponed to give the group more time to bring more people on board which is the main challenge since the Prime Minister demands that they attract grassroot support which has proved a challenge for the organisers since they got a backlash from area Mps.

In the meantime, the organisers have resorted to wooing the area MPs to help garner grassroot support for the event.

Default he is not lucky - 07-04-2008, 09:14 AM

let the man from the Lake swallow his pride. He is dreaming to woo Kikuyu's hearts after the carnage he propagated against the Gema community. Let him know Kikuyus have not forgotten the torture and bloodshed by their relatives it is still fresh in their minds.

Default Cancelling not a big deal - 07-04-2008, 09:55 AM

Cancelling the crowning of Raila as a Kikuyu is not a big deal. This was just another goat eating and show off party with no much significance.

it is not Raila who fought the kikuyus,or are you afraid of mentioning the kaleos you dread the name mmhh!
As far as i know RAO was the defrauded entity of the hard sought presidential leadership.
So look elsewhere for someone to blame.

Default Raila Kikuyu Elder?!!!! - 07-05-2008, 05:16 AM

Been doing some anthropologigal study about being installed as an elder amongst the Kikuyu community, and realised that one prerequisite is that the potential elder should prove that he is a man; meaning that he should be circumcised. Just wondering whether the PM has undergone the cut. Advice pls.
