Default Reason as to why MPS were against Kimunya - 07-03-2008, 04:32 AM

It is now clear MPs mostly from ODM party have in one way succeeded in the call of Kimunya resignation. But most of the importance is their escapism from doing the right thing of paying taxes out of their hefty salaries.

When a group of Mps led by Cirus Jirongo, Ababu Namwamba etc went for demonstration they argued they won’t support nor allow Kimunya to pass any Bill in Parliament which mean’t even proposal that Kimunya had tabled in parliament for the Mps to pay taxes has been scraped. If the likes of Orengo are that clean why don’t they give directions to Kenyans as how they are going to pursue the issue of paying taxes.

They'll pay taxes, so long as its not Kimunya bringing the motion to ammend
the law, to compell MPs and constitutional office holders to pay taxes.

Kimunya is a finished and vanquised mokimo head politician.

Default give us a break - 07-03-2008, 04:52 AM

Many seem to be flummoxed by the conduct of some of the MPs when it comes to disparagement. Bonny Khalalwe was one of the most agitated MP, you may think it was his house which was sold or torched down by one of ODM supporters. The guy even went further to show how tribal he is. How does this hotel help a common mwananchi who are living below $1 per day?

This was a well plotted political move. Orengo knew what was going on including the valuation and he accented to the sale of the Grand regency. His colleague in conspiracy; Hon Amollo Odinga also knew of the dealings. All along they didn't raise a finger.

Their Di*ck Morrison techniques were back at play. They would wait till the transaction was complete then they would sideline Kimunya and using their fellow MP goons like Khalwale, they would implicate Kimunya of misapropriation of public utilities, pay other Mps to support a censure bill in Parliament, and use the media to call for Kimunya's forced resignation or sacking after the bill has been passed.

This done, they can now call for promotion of Dr. Oburu Odinga to head the ministry of Finance. The same tactics they had tried on the NSIS boss and Mjr Ali.

Kimunya needs to hold his ground; we cannot allow this country to be ran by goons who use any means available to get some more power on their hands while they drip and smell of raw innocent Kenyans' blood!!

First of all, hawa watu lazima walipe KODI!!

If kimunya will be there or not we have to pursue that until it is done.

Now if ODM was setting up PNU, that is Kimunya own cross. He F!cked up! He should have been smarter. His CV is good but is overshadowed by what he did on this deal. He will go down hard on this one and this is a good lesson to other ministers, and governement officials, never float the laid down procedures or you risk your job.

The MPS have a right to demand Kimunya's resignation. Just like any other Kenyan who wouldn't want to shield corruption/incompetency or whatever it is. But if all those MPs associated with any sort of corruption can also resign, we will be leaving in a very clean society

I realise that patriotism is not enough. I must have no hatred or bitterness towards anyone.

I keep wondering , why would Kimunya with all his brains pull such a stunt. I would have thought he'd deploy some sophistication to cover his tracks or whoever his trying to protect-

anyway i started smelling a rat when he made started making contradictory statements -

e.g - "..this was a government to government deal btwn the Kenyan and the Libyan government.. hence the secrecy.." - a claim the Libyan govt denies

then with his usual arrogance- goes and tells MP Midiwo that in the event he's cornered the president would call a state of emergency
