Default Raila's secret spy network” - 06-20-2008, 07:41 AM

Raila always has a way to blind fold many Kenyans in deed very many Kenyans by his moves.
Raila Amolo Odinga is a man who has perfected this art of spying on both friends and enemies
Prime Minister runs a very effective parallel secret spy system. THE PM, using this elaborate network, has effectively infiltrated key state institutions including the police force which falls under the government he has been doing this since he served as minister in the Moi cabinet ,the Kibaki cabinet and now as the PM raila has always made sure that he had all the necessary intelligence on all ministers, particularly those from Nyanza province opposed to his politics.
“Agwambo knows which politician coughs at night, their favorite drinks, love affairs, business associates and investments and of course bank accounts,” A shrewd political operative, he has a secret security network which travels ahead of him during public functions including weddings and funerals.
For Raila’s security network, he is said to mostly depend on ex-air servicemen who were involved in the 1982 coup together with him. It is this group that is said to have been used as advance party during last year’s campaigns. Traveling in hired Nissan vans, with crude weapons, petrol bombs and with mobile phones, they offered security for ODM luminaries throughout the hectic campaign period.
he had his trip to the US planned earlier so that no body can be suspicious of his calculated moves.
he also never just sign the peace deal he has it in mind that it will not work and that is his plan. Agwambo is ready to strike the government which he is in.

Maitû,

Is true. Raila does have (or should we say had) his own private security detail. He also has a spy network. Why do you think the dude is so in touch with the mwananchi on the ground?

Raila and Ruto pay for information (which I think is pretty bright of them seeing how they ran circles round PNU) and publicity. Have you paused to wonder why Ruto and RAO get so much airtime on the news? In case you didn't know, a section of the TV networks depend on paps (freelance photo/video operatives) for their content. RAO and Ruto have these jamaas eating out of their hands. Kalooser, being the meanie that he is, gives nada and gets nada.

As for the network of spies, that's a preserve of every politician, in or out of government. The gutter press was borne of these spy networks that politicians convienently used to bring to light unsavoury details about their opponents' secret lifestyles. Kenyans discovered that KShs. 800,000 can help quite a bit when it comes to flouting the Ten Commandments.

In short, Maitû, can you please give us something a little more newsworthy?

@Bloggeratti

Every serious politician must have ‘feelers’ throughout their operating domain, i.e. constituency level for an MP and countrywide for a National leader. That was how people like ‘The People’s Watchman’, Shikuku, managed to keep Kenyatta’s thugs in check.

And wisdom demands that any ambitious politician in Kenya has such a network. Can you imagine how Raila would have faired against an opponent who gets daily national intelligence briefings, controls the NSIS, CID, Military Intelligence, Provincial Administration (down to the village) plus all the instruments of violence (and justice, as well as who sits on the ECK), and who will willingly use them for political benefit – without having a private intelligence (and maybe militant) network? And, arguably, were it not for this network, would the Artur thugs have been exposed?

Until the day we will learn to separate state resources from political activity, these parallel networks will continue to be necessary.

Default Raila rebellious streak - 06-21-2008, 07:16 PM

We corroborate this information through our intelligence setup RAW (Research and Analysis Wing) of the Royal Institute.

Yet we believe for any aspiring candidate a similar arrangement would be best to deal with him too.
