I hate the Standard. It may not die completely but it will be irrelevant. They did this to themselves. They turned a formerly respected newspaper into another gutter crap just to fulfil their vendetta. They were pushing the system to react again but it didnt. Now they pay.

As missed call said, if you want the low down, read the crappy newspaper. If you want real news, look elsewhere.

Make sure that for each person, there are at least five to ten who will stop buying the standard and giving them business.

IT'S important for standard to note that their news consumers whether n PNU or ODM they are educated, who can not go for one sided stories when other media houses are offering balanced news.

pple tend to go where they get maximum value for their money

Default Standard full of BS - 05-17-2008, 06:01 PM

Anybody who denies that this paper is just trash gotta be retarded or living in another world. They don't bother to even show the most slight objectivity in their reporting. Even though Nationmedia tends to be pro government it does not go to the extent that the Standard media group has opted for. It would be better if somebody advised the board of directors of this company that's this is not the manner a media house that "claims to be regional" (ahahhahah.lol) operates.

Look at today's lead story. Just a sensational pseudoanalysis of a complex issue that leaves you with a memory of a standard 7 essay. You wonder what they will benefit with if the coalition breaks down.

Signs of trouble

On the other hand, look at the excellent analysis or Obama's Kenyan connections, even if it concentrates on the Raila factor. Gives you memory of your Master's thesis.

Raila factor in Obama contest

So what, exactly is the problem with KTN/Standard? I hear a lot of whining, but not actual problems? I'm not attacking, I'm just curious to know from akina 74. Your input please.
