Default Raila - 05-13-2008, 01:27 AM

Should Raila be making decisions for the ODM MPs, or should they go independently?

Default raila a dictator - 05-13-2008, 03:05 AM

The road is tough for Raila as he cannot chain his MPs forever. If MPs from rift valley led by Isaac Ruto feels their independence is being compromised just by the virtual of being in the ODM camp they may pull out and back somebody else; a move that could weaken Raila’s power in parliament and also his political mileage

The road has always been tough for Raila.

- In 1982, Moi arrested him and had him charged with treason and then detained him without trial and many thought that that this would finish him.

- In 1988, Moi detained him for the second time and many again thought that that this would finish him.

- In 1989, Moi detained him for the third time and many like you thought that that this would finally finish him.

- In 1997, he resigned from Ford Kenya amid flawed elections and then from parliament and many thought this would mark his political end.

- In 2001, they claimed that his move to have his NDP party merge with KANU had finished him politically.

- In 2003, Kibaki dishonored the MOU and many thought that this would finish him politically.

- In 2004, they created a non-existent Mollases Scam and thought that thiw would finish him politically.

- In 2005, they claimed that his sacking by Kibaki would end his political career.

- In 2006, they claimed that publication (in his biography) of his alleged involvement in the 1982 coup had finished him politically.

- In 2007, they brought Livondo and claimed that if he lost the elections he would be politically finished.

He keeps getting stronger, what most of you don't seem to realize is that his power and authority is God given, comes from the masses and not from the office that he holds!

TikTok I love your precision with History. You are good.

You know most PANAU people and Railaphobics who shout the loudest here are usually devoid of historical memories. Anybody who knows Raila very well historically will discover that the man has always risen above his tribulations even much stronger. Each time tough times that sought bring him down, he became much stronger and never failing to inspire.

Politics is not for the faint Hearted. Raila eats, sleeps and breaths politics.
