Ok guys let's not mix the food with Raila's program. I think most of you and all of PNU never understand what home coming parties mean in different parts of the country. For Raila's home coming party, the agenda is very clear if you read the below article.

The Standard | Online Edition | Headlines |Kisumu ecstatic over Raila’s first visit as PM

and to quote the essence of having the home party please see the below sections. This should foreversilence the naysayers

"...As a senior Government official with executive powers, Raila is expected to sway his followers from the opposition back to the Government side.

He is also coming to assure the ODM supporters that the party did not lose out in the power sharing deal.

His visit will also help heal wounds inflicted by post-election violence that left Nyanza bleeding. Residents faced police bullets and inhaled tear gas fumes during the protests in January and February..."

"...Raila will this morning meet with Luo Council of Elders, a caucus of Luo professionals, ODM officials, investors and church leaders.

The four groups were yesterday putting last touches to their lengthy memoranda to the Prime Minister.

All the 21 constituencies have selected 20 representatives each to meet with Raila at the Tom Mboya Labour College. Each constituency has prepared its own memorandum.

The Council of Elders are expected to present to Raila an analysis of their expectations in the Coalition Government and what the future holds for the community ahead of 2012 General Election..."

Now if the above two does not describe the agneda of a progressive home coming party then I do not know how to convince you further. As I said before you can choose to read only the feasting part and ignore teh real message as seen in the cmpaigns in 2007 or be like me and get to the bottom of everything and anythign and realise there is a good to somethings.

Just like the PIGS in the Animal Farm had apples n milk added in their feed so that they can think...we nowadays need a party to forward our agendas to government officials.
Will Raila travel countrywide doing this?If not, why only Nyanza? He is the PM for the Republic of Kenya, not Nyanza!

1. how can he afford this kind of extravagance when the country is reeling from the terrible effects of post election violence and in country where 70% of the population have little or nothing to eat. Isn’t this a big insult to the poor and also the IDPs (including thousands of Jaluo IDPs in Naivasha and Nakuru)

2. isn’t this the classical sick behaviour of dictators like Mobutu, Canaan Banana of Central Africa republic, Idi Amin etc. Is this road where he wants to take us?

3. why hold the party in kisumu when his constituency is in kibera? Is he a PM for jaluos only? What message is he trying to send to the country?

4. how come we never heard of Kibaki slaughtering thousands of bulls and goats in Nyeri to celebrate being elected president in 2002, 2008?

5. now that this is coming barely a week after arriving from south Africa in a private jet what message is he sending? Is it that there was no KQ, BA or South Africa Airlines flight from Jo’burg to Nairobi?

6. how come he is the only kenyan driving hummers, using private jets and holding lavish parties in Kenya while wananchi are trying to adjust to the harsh economic realities caused by his actions? He also represents the poorest constituency in kenya. Why not use the money to uplift the lives of his constituents? Is this his version of servant leadership?
that is called jaluonization era.
hehe heee.

Default Homecomming will End with Uhuru Park Rally! - 05-10-2008, 07:53 PM

Its a pitty the way we look at things - at times.

500 bulls and 20,000 fish cannot feed Kisumu even on a miserable day, let alone in a party. They are not a nation of mboga eaters.

As for those who are not happy that Raila stopped in Kisumu on route to Bondo, swallow a razor-blade - will make you feel much better.

Raila will hire even private concordes on his way out. But those trips will yield great dividends for the entire Republic.

mmmm, nice observation. the jaluonization era, and still you jaluos and your abuse will not add a microgram of intelligence.
By the way you jaluos, have you invited your neighbours?? the cavemen arrow shooting runners??. after two years we will again raise money to bury jaluos in masse, coz every jaluo party custom dictates their must be orgy.

straannge people!!!!
