Meanwhile, i have no intentions of posting in mashada. Before getting to my second agenda, i would like to pass condolences to those kenyans participants in mashada discussions whose families were affected in one way or the other during the two month political crisis in kenya. I also join your prayers that an everlasting peace as well as justice prevails upon the people and the land. Up to the time of the kenya crisis, am convinced, that dr. Kofi annan is a gift that god gave to the continent of africa. What do i mean by this? apart from the normal channels of diplomacy, dr. Annan in my opinion, became even more of a kenya patriot than some of the members who were appointed to negotiate the deal. Thatīs why i say, he is a gift to africa. Coalition politics: maybe the best term for this would be transitional coalition politics. Ladies and gentle men, i hope youīll agree with me, if i say that what is happening today in 2008 after the killings of 1500 innocent kenyans, could have happened in 2003 without blood shed. Kibaki, has done more harm than good in his tenure. Is it not kiraitu murungi, who now says he is ready to work with raila as the pm who resisted at all costs the creation of the post of an executive pm?? is it not martha karua, who did everything to water down the efforts from 2003 to 2007 and still yet, after rigging the 2007 ballot, insisted that kibaki remains with overwhelming powers solo, and her stand remained the same after 1,500 kenyans were butchered, now agreeing to working with an excecutive pm? if i may ask you all, what kind of future can murungi and karua (just those two examples) bring to our beloveth nation? should we protect the loot or build the nation?? martha karua, kiraitu murungi and many more politicians especially from the mt. Kenya region are nyangaus doing everything to cling onto power and protect their loot ( letīs not be deceived that they are playing tribal politics, no. They are using tribal politics ). Save for the lives that we have lost, i am happy because this post election violence will serve as a good example to other crooked african leaders who have perfected the art of ruling with the gun and in particular, if any kenyan leader will ever try to rig again, well, that would be insanity. Coalition government between raila and kibaki will stand as long as it will be valid. I say this because this is a transitional government they forming. This coalition, in my opinion, and i believe this is how it is, should not last for five years. It should only serve as an interim government to oversee the overhaul and a review of the present constitution. Thereafter, kenyans will go for a new presidential elections to rectify the irregularities made in the dec, 27th elections. We cannot afford to let it go. The internally displaced persons ( idps) should be resettled somewhere else apart from the rift valley. The operations that were realised by the warriors left no doubt that their presence in that region lacks approval from the locals. Otherwise, there would have been no conflict. Last but not the least, all kenyans, we have a reason to rejoice. Why? the era of impunity is remaining behind us; the era of tribalism is also behind us; the police brutality that was recently at itīs peak is also behind us. As i encourage you to support this coalition ( pacific reasons), i want to assure you, the poor and the lowly, the less fortunate, i mean the victims of inequity, that our beloved country is in your hands(kenya is back to itīs bonafide owners). Army commanders is not what we need to put food on our tables. What we need to fulfil our day to day needs is good and accountable governance. My fellow kenyans, hon. Raila amolo odinga ( the pm designate) , who suffered jail terms fighting for democracy, good governance and accountabilty is poised to be the head of kenyaīs government. We have to dry our tears and rejoice as we work as a team. Thank you all, and god bless you n/b: i apologise for typing errors that may have been encountered. I am rushing somewhere
now you want me look that Signature that is my home
