No one has a problem with Kikuyus thriving economically. We have a problem with anyone standing in the way of justice, peace and equity.

There has to be a leader so others can follow, the kikuyu lead and the rest follow.In economics of the world and decision making the african don`t sit on the same table as the white man.So the jelousy in kenya and hatred towards the kikuyu might have done the best thing to the tribe since we are now more united than ever before, nation building and all that other crap is only a word of mouth but deep in the heart the kikuyu come first now ,the enemy tribes will suffer even more don`t forget who owns kenya.I never had any hatred towards any tribe,but as a kikuyu i always thought of the luo being wierd since they didn`t circumcise but never hated them.Now its different still don´t hate them ,just wouldn´t wanna associate with them,for me First iam kikuyu then kenyan

I don't blame you. After all the hate (and killings) that the Kyuks have been subjected to the last several months, I now know who our friends are. As far as I'm concerned, if someone is not a Kyuk, Meru, Embu, or Kamba, I couldn't care less about him/her.

I don't hate the other tribes but I just don't care about them any more. The only exception is the Kales who should burn in hell, and the Luos whose maturity I highly question (always have).

I can see the campaign is on (at least in your mind) to continue isolating the kyuks. I can assure you that it will take a whole lot more to break them, with or without the Kamba support. Kyuks are as bad or as good as your politicians want you to believe. That's a fact.

If I was you, I'd be thinking about how I'm going to out-hustle them. That's the only way you can gain ground on kyuks. Otherwise, the economic dynamics will not change for a looong time.

Hardly, ZainabuObama!

If you look at it objectively, Kyuks are the most practical community in Kenya.

From my teaching background, I can confirm that majority of the teachers posted in hardship areas happen to be Kyuks - unlike their Western/Nyanza counterparts who'd rather come to Nyorobi, live in a slum and get a job with a hefty title and a pittance of a salary.

If you look at inter-marriage, they go the whole hog. Their only fear is when death strikes - you've all seen what happened to Wambui Otieno vs Umira Kager clan, and more recently to Melitus Were's Kyuk spouse.

When it comes to assimilation of ideas, innovation .... Funny you mentioned Kambas. Did you know that most development NGO's prefer to work in Central/Eastern? Why? Because they are chap-chap. Kilifi and Lokichoggio happen to have the highest concentration of NGO's - and still lag behind in ideas and wealth creation.

I can go on and on and continue to prove just how mistaken and confused you are. I'll cut to the chase and leave you with this food for thought.

Ethnic bigotry is a two-sided coin, but when it becomes your mantra, beware! You will be left behind, crying foul, while the rest of us move on!

One thing I love about ODM diehards is their modus operandi. Approaching issues with an OPEN MOUTH instead of an OPEN MIND. Man Kaleo2 here being a perfect example.
