Default Guys i need your opinions on this!!!    Show Printable Version  Print   Email this Page  Email

Yesterday i was having a conversation with a friend of mine. The topic was about perfomance in K.C.S.E exams that were released. What does scoring a C plain in the KCSE exams in Kenya mean? Does it mean u cant make it into a good profession be it a lawyer, doctor and others too or you can work your way out from a diploma to a bachelors all the way up. or u will tell someone to repeat to get good scores that will guarantee u an entry to a university? What if the person fails again if he /she repeats?Your opinions pls!!

Not really get an A is obviously a big plus, but you can still make your way just try building your C.V. even if you have to do voluntary work. Find ways to build your C.V thats will be your way out.
As to whether she should repeat thats up to her.

your high school grade should never and never should be allowed to determine your future.

I cant remember the kenyan system, but you can qualify to get into private universities and colleges, then upgrage to a four year one. How much are they well to do in terms of finance

life is sometimes unfair, u pass education with flying colours and u fail in life with a thud.

Hard working is the key to succes in life.

one who passed his/her kcse, could have been working hard, hence we expect him keep with the same tempo.

however there are several situations that can make one fail or get an average score at school, one obvious thing we always see is lack of hardwork in an individual.

if you fail ua kcse and take it as a challenge, then u gonna make it in life to improve ua weaknesses.

Getting a "C" is definitely not good if you were thinking Law or Medicine or Nursing or Engineering. Even the Parallel degree programmes take a minimun of "B" for the technical courses and "C+" in other courses but you can bribe you way out I guess.

I know a girl who got a "C" and got into parallel law but her dad was a lecturer at UoN so that I guess made a difference. But thats not the end of it, they can take other courses like Education or Liberal arts but even that they require minimum of "B" in Mathematics.

It depends with your financial capabilities. if your on the lower caliber then i guess the only way out is to repeat and pass, if your loaded the options are limit less

WHY NOT?? Then why bother going to high school??
I cant remember the kenyan system, "The Kenyan system" is 7-3-2-6...KAPE, CPE, KJSC, EACE....

but you can qualify to get into private universities and colleges,[/B] then upgrage to a four year one. [/B]So private universities and colleges do not have four year courses??

How much are they well to do in terms of finance[/QUOTE] Wow, which high school did YOU attend?
