Why is it that 99% of those NEGATIVE comments are from ladies? I would consider it absolutely genuine if more men than women made those negative comments.

Anyway, anyone who cares to understand men will know that the very first thing that attracts them to women is physical appearance. If you ladies have a problem with that, then I'm afraid there isn't much you can do to change it.

To poster, its simple really, Kenyan and basically most African women don't know how to work the weave. It just looks....artificial. TOO artificial. Em Akata chix hav perfected the art of weaves bana hands down. All those jobless hours and off-shift hours at Mikkey Dees has paid off for them.

African mamaz, quit the copy-catin and start acting original.

Actually sis, most of us men dont' realize that many "natural" women we see are wearing cosmetics!!!! I prefer women without make up!! Ladies look pretty without all that iish on them.

Good makeup does not show. But boy can there be a surprise in the morning! Examples: Just look through US weekly or the other slick-paper scandal rags and look at actresses caught without makeup on. Pam Anderson comes to mind -- not that she's bad looking without it, but there is a BIG difference

There is a degree, when the woman uses make up to enhance her natural beauty that's perfect but when a woman uses make up to try to make up a new beauty or to hide things (scars, skin color, etc.) that's just not right.

Makeup should be subtle. Not invisible, but so that it isn't noticed unless someone is looking for it. If someone asks if a woman was wearing makeup and I can say she was without looking at her again, it is too much. If I can see it across the room, it is too much. But if I can only see it when looking closely, no problem. Subtle makeup is no more "wrong" than effective hair styling. A girl is entitled, an indeed welcomed, to make the best of what nature has given her.

I've often wondered what men thought about kissing a woman's neck or cheek and tasting foundation *yuck* Or, woke up in the morning and turned to his lover who no longer had a complete make up and uttered those immortal words: Who are you ???

Makeup should enhance what everyone who wears it, already has!!!!!!!!

kenyansenorita, men will always be men. I will repeat it again: the very first thing that attracts a man to a woman is her physical appearance. Other things come later. How can I expect you to understand this or even argue with you and you are a woman? Though entitled to their opinions, those making negative comments are just like frogs in a river that can't prevent the cows from drinking water, if you understand what I mean.

Men are mostly attracted by the physical outlook, but they'd prefer it be original and real, not a carbon copy. They were created with 'big eyes' to keep on looking and looking.... ,even when they are 90yrs,they are still looking.Ever wondered why they ban miniskirts, tight trousers etc?.to limit their looking, because they are always looking lol!

Ladies on the contrary, the money and the sweet words from a man steals them away even if the guy looks rugged, unkempt, and loudy.

Happy Day.
