As poverty levels continue to surge in Kenya where the majority are living on less than a dollar per day, many are tempted to join schemes that will help them achieve financial freedom. On the other hand, Kenyans frustrated with long queues in banks and peanut interest rates, have been withdrawing their savings in banks and even going further to sell their shares in order to invest in what is known as pyramid and merry-go-round schemes.
