Lagat to Denounce his American Citizenship

Following a dismal performance at the 2008 Beijing Olympics it is highly speculated that Benard Lagat might renounce his American citizenship and re-instate his kenyan citizenship. It is said that he is unhappy with the material gains he got US compared to the glory of winning a medal in a competition like Olympic. He has made up his mind to work with fellow Kenyans as a team and bring glory to Kenya!

What glory would he be bringing? The best he could manage in the 5000m was a ninth position and a poor show in the 1500m! Is that the glory ataleta? Has he forgotten Kenya continues to produce young athletes every other day?

May be the dollars are welcome for investment....
