Can someone remember, for example, what he/she has forgotten? The police once asked me to mention few items I said I couldn't remember.
Absolutely. Have you ever tried to remember a word but you just couldn't? And then it so happens that someone mentions it and IMMEDIATELY, you remember that it's the word you had been trying to come up with?

Lunch is over now, so it's back to work. That house was just too tempting, but i'm trying to forget how to get there, lol.
How good is yours?
There are things which seem to have been erased from my long term memory especially when i was a kid. Then i have stuff that i remember so clearly like it was yesterday.
I can remember faces from a long time ago or even from maybe 8yrs ago, but the names sometimes escape me. This can be quite emberassing especially when the person remembers you so clearly. I'll recall where and how i met the person, but when i try for their name..........blank.
Sometimes i'm forced to just come out and ask. Then i get comments like, "Kwanini unaringa?"
Are you one of those people who remembers everything? Maybe from the age of 3/4?
i remember, 5yrs old. niligonga mathe na sabuni ya kipande kwa mgango... no, i think it was rexona...a..aa...ilikuwa lifebuoy, ya, lifebuoy. anywayz, me gongaz mathe na lifebuoy kwa mgongo, akanichapa makofi ya rasa, si nikaanza kulia. akanichukua na kunipembeleza. gai fafa, it's so clear ni kama ilikuwa jana.

That's being reminded.

Could not have said it any different, I remember all my class mates in primary, even those who transfered in standard 2, but I may not remember my year mates (those not in my class), My friend astounds me, he remember all our prima school mates by 2 names, even those in lower level.
For short memory I accidentally discovered something amazing, last 2 months I went on a fish diet for health reasons, had fish every day at least once, I was poor with short term memory, my fone, keys, documents at work, scheduling etc could not remember.
Now not only has my memory improved, but when i think about something, i remember how i placed it and where, and if you have moved it, I will know. This is not scientific and am not even sure am ascribing the reaction to the right solution, but all i can say is, I like it. But booze sets you back a few days, i now believe booze kills brain cells.
I have been on fresh water fish meals not sea water fish
Just because you've always done it that way, doesn't mean its not incredibly stupid.

Thanks YB I'm going to try the fish thing. I'll let you know how it works. Giving up my red wine and capt-coke will be the challenge...lol.
