Ofcourse ''Ngeta'' is a common word, what are the other names used to refer this word outside there? If u've been a victim of ''Ngeta'' yes, go ahead and share with us.

what is a ngeta? in another forum i read that its a weapon mungiki use..so i was thinking its a panga since that seems to be their weapon of choice.
If that is what it means, then No am not a victim.

i can't understand half of these words. Is it a panga or not?

It's not a panga neither is it a weapon as u put it.It like an act of something being taken away from u by force, being robbed or something close to that. Hope that gives u a clue of what is to be discussed.

@busy Actually you and opiche have not really described what ng'eta is.

CDP - Ng'eta is actually the act of applying a neck lock (choke hold) on an individual, like what happens in wrestling, its choking someone with a vice like grip, the act was perfected further in ziwani estate, where the 'choker' has a piece of wood on the fore arm and presess it on the 'chokees' throat. usually affect the larynx.

Kuperembwa is kuibiwa, so earlier descriptions were, nilipigwa ng'eta halafu nikaperembwa, but they became synonymous, so ng'eta means kuperembwa, but for it to be really one, you must have a 'choke hold' applied from behind

Suffice it to say, I have been a victim, Moi avenue hapo eadies some years back, lost my fone

YB,nice explanation but if i may ask, are those the spellings;ng'eta? Or is it ngeta?
